1., Pull of 6 to,8 pounds withdraws U-shaped clip ft:ombal\
end of striker.
2. Spring, drives striker onto percussion cap.

INSTALLI,NG AND ARMING
1". Un~cre\~ fuze 'adapter.
2. Attach fuze to desired object.
3. Att~ch trip wire to U-shaped clip, adjust, ,tension, !-Intil
safety pin lies about halfway along slots in body. r
4. Qonnect charge _to fuze adapter, screw adapter'into end of'
pull fuze.
S. Withdraw safety pin. Too 'much tension on trip wire jams
safety pin against ends of sl~ts and prevents e~sy withdrawal.

DISARMING,
. If close inspection is, possible, in~ert safe,W pin through' slot in
body and through safety-pin hole"in ban end of striker. Check
both ends' rf trip wire. Cut trip w~rc: Remove fuze ad~pte~.,
